Google Plus Pages Replace PPC Ads

Google search results are now showing Latest Posts from Google pages/profiles where one usually saw the PPC ads. The top half of the search page has Google pages and profiles alongside its regular results. As per Google, this change is an experiment to merge search with social. Google has been quoted all over the web as:

If you see the new results, you will see that the Google results
show up on the right-hand side of the page instead of being a part of
search results. Whether you are signed in or not, you will see such
results.




So, if you were searching for someones Google profile, it would
show on the right of the page, instead of the top of the results. For
Google pages, it is an excellent setting to get more visibility in
above the fold search results.

This new search results format is a good thing for internet
marketers as they can now provide and achieve better visibility for
their clients. Also, they can control the content displayed in a better
