Hi guys please let me know if there is anything wrong I did in this process. I would really appreciate help because I am at a loss

01) Acquired lists for AMR (fiver, here, friend, etc)
02) Signed up for accounts (obviously a significant percentage failed)
03) Wrote an article ( Followed best practices in the AMR documentation)
04) Submitted to around 1000 sites (obviously a significant percentage failed)
05) Generated the live links report
06) Fed that report into pingfarm.
07) Pinged links
08) waited 3 days and did seoc in market samurai for the keywords and there are ZERO backlinks (though the livelinks are still live I just checked them)

What am I doing wrong?????
